Health Insurance is an important part of protecting yourself and your family against injury and illness.

Based on your family size and income you may be eligible for federal subsidies that help pay your premiums. In some cases you may be eligible for "enhanced" plans with lower co-pays and deductibles.
You can purchase health insurance through the state exchange or find coverage off of the exchange.
Off exchange plans don't qualify for subsidies but can have larger networks with more doctors and facilities.

In some cases your children will be sent to the state Medi-Cal program if you are eligible for subsidies. Purchasing a plan off of the exchange can avoid that. You don’t have to separate your children from your plan.
